Following feedback from some colleges and the proposed marking panel, there is concern about the proximity of other bidding processes from other agencies, together with the fact that the last week of October is half term for most colleges. JISC TechDis does not wish to detract from the importance of the LSC Capital Grant funding 09/10, and has agreed to extend the deadline for Innovation 3 bids from the 30th of October until the 13th of November.
Although it was emphasised they are interested in bids involving multimedia and In-Folio, the Independent Specialist Colleges’ e-Folio application, this does not mean they do not welcome bids that focus on other areas of college life, which also demonstrate innovative approaches involving technology or e-learning.
You can enter more than one bid per college. You may for example be interested in the fact that there is now an IT Qualification (ITQ) in Accessible IT Practices recently agreed with e-Skills UK and JISC TechDis , which may become an element of your strategic planning for your CPD for staff.
