JISC Legal works to ensure that legal issues do not become a barrier to the adoption and use of new information and communications technologies in further education, higher education and specialist colleges.
It has published a short four page paper that considers the legal issues which may arise in relation to the use of e-assessment in further and higher education. The document (PDF format) can be accessed on the JISC Legal website.
JISC Legal has also produced a checklist to assist those who are engaged in delivering Web 2.0 technologies. It highlights issues to consider to help navigate the legal considerations. This checklist can be accessed in pdf format on the JISC Legal website.
