ALP logoALP is delighted to announce that following lengthy negotiations with the Learning and Skills Council (LSC) and the dept. for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS) they have agreed to award an additional £3m of capital funding to support a further phase of the very successful Learning Innovation Grant (LIG5) programme.

Chris Swingler, ALP’s Director of Business Development, said “I am very pleased the success of the LIG programme has led to further Government investment particularly during these difficult times. Good use of technology has an important part to play in offering learning programmes that are inspirational and motivating and will support a next generation of skills and training for all.”

The additional LIG capital funding is a very welcome opportunity for the independent work-based learning sector to continue their fantastic progress in making effective use of technology and e-learning to boost learner satisfaction, achievement rates and business outcomes.

Further details will be posted over the summer via Countdown and ALP’s elearning website:  www.elearningproviders.org
