LSIS logoThe new eCPD Programme’s Online learning space (OLS) is a growing community of practice. It is being developed on behalf of LSIS with representatives from the whole FE system to enable practitioners to make effective use of technology to support and enhance learning.

Register now at http://ecpd.bdplearning.com to access the following:

  • A new interactive eCPD framework and an  associated planning tool designed to mirror the structure of IfL’s  REFLECT tool to ensure that eCPD activities can be easily transferred and  logged as evidence of users’ 30 hours or pro-rata CPD.
  • Discussion forums where users can share comments and  ideas, and conduct peer-to-peer review of activities and  experiences.
  • A growing library of resources and case studies  provided by practitioners across the country.
  • Videos, podcasts and articles on the latest  developments in e-learning.

“The great thing about the networking capabilities of the OLS is that it breaks down barriers between work base learning providers, FE colleges, prisons and other providers.” Craig Marshall, MD, Devon and Cornwall Training Provider Network.

“The OLS really does belong to the community it serves. It’s not just another website.” Marianne Green, Head of ICT Developments at St Helens College.
