3 Mar 2009
Mega Centre, Sheffield, South Yorkshire
This event will highlight and explore some simple ways that technology can be used by all teaching staff to reduce barriers for learners with dyslexia and other learning difficulties, and in a way that enhances the learning experience for all.
This day will not be looking at specific accessibility software or hardware, but common everyday solutions, that can be applied and embedded into mainstream teaching and learning, that can make a big difference to many learners.
Although the day makes direct reference to dyslexia, the principles used will be applicable to a wide range of disabilities and will be beneficial to all learners.
