This conference will focus on strategic leadership of organisations in the Further Education sector to embed technology as the platform for delivering excellence in Teaching and Learning. The event will also provide examples of how these technologies can be deployed in an effective manner giving students, lecturers and managers the opportunity to engage with, monitor and deliver learning of the highest quality.
Themes covered will include:
• Using technologies for driving forward strategic leadership
• Technologies for improving business and academic processes
• Legal aspects of introducing technologies into education
• Technologies and techniques for enabling distance and international learning
Delegates will get a chance to hear accounts of individual experiences and updates from leading experts as well as interacting and exchanging ideas in workshop sessions.
The day is set in the attractive setting of Heslington Hall, part of the University of York. The venue promises to provide a relaxing environment to stimulate and develop inspirational ideas for the creative use of technology for leading FE into the 21st century.
Who should attend?
The event is targeted at Senior Staff from FE Colleges and others involved in promoting the strategic use of IT in the sector. The event can be attended by other FE and Skills Providers but will be of most relevance to FE Colleges.
