Funding for Mentors in WBL, ACL, Prison and Voluntary sectors

HUDCETT logoFunding has been made available by the Learning & Skills Improvement Service (LSIS) – previously QIA – through Centres for Excellence in Teacher Training (CETTs).

The essential details are that:

   1. there are different bands of funding (up to a maximum of £20,000)

   2. the subject has to be focused on supporting mentoring and, in particular, those mentors who are supporting trainees in the WBL, ACL, Prison and Voluntary sectors

   3. the closing date for applications is 25th November with a start date for those approved by 1st January 2009 and completed by 31st March.
