Shooting with High-Definition Video (HDV)
Wednesday 12th November 2008
10.30 am – 5.00 pm
BUFVC, 77 Wells Street, London W1
Intended audience: participants from higher and further education who wish to learn professional camera techniques to improve their own recording methods for use in courseware, research and teaching.
In this one day workshop we take a non-technical approach to learning more about high definition and the implications for shooting with HDV format cameras.
Beginning with a review of the format, delegates will all have the opportunity to use an HDV camera and look at the operation of these cameras through a series of practical exercises. We will examine the implications for production, including the need for close attention to composition and lighting for high definition.
This is a hands on workshop enabling delegates to discover at first hand the advantages of working with this new and exciting format.
