The Handheld Learning Awards (http://www.handheldlearning2008.com/ ), taking place in October 13th-15th 2008, celebrate mobile learning achievements in education, across all sectors and age brackets.
The Yorkshire & Humber Region have always taken a keen interest in innovation, which is probably why two of our local institutions have nominations in the post 16 categories. JISC RSC Yorkshire & Humber are proud to have supported Keith Tellum from Joseph Priestley College and Christopher Tansey from Wyke College, who are up for Practitioner of the Year Awards in the FE and Special Needs Education categories respectively.
Anyone wanting to vote for these or other finalists, can do so by text, using the numbers on the Handheld Learning Website.
JISC RSC Yorkshire & Humber wish all finalists the very best of luck!
