Excellence in Inclusivity: Learning for Living & Work Dissemination Event

Wednesday 24th September 2008

Pavilion Hotel, York

09:30 – 15:30

Various colleges in the region have been involved in the ‘Learning for Living and Work’ Project, where they have purchased and used technology to enhance the learning experience.

This event will showcase some of these projects, detailing what has been learned, and the differences that this has made to the learners. The event will also provide opportunities for networking with other learning providers and give details of how the JISC Regional Support Centre for Yorkshire & Humber plans to build on this work through regional support networking and online facilities.

This event will see the launch of the Excellence in Inclusivity forum and the supporting online web application!

Aims of the Day:
To showcase some of the projects, identify what has been learned, and demonstrate how other learning providers can benefit from the experiences.

Who should attend?
This event is aimed at all learning providers in the region (not just those involved with the project) and will be relevant to people working with, or strategically responsible for learners with disabilities.

How much is it?
FREE (places must be booked and are limited to two per organisation)

How do I book?
Go to www.rsc-yh.ac.uk/events and book your free place

Just to point out that my blog trackback identified as SPAM above is not spam. We talked about this event on the podcast and linked back to this page (and the site as well).

Ah well automated spam software, what joy!
