The JISC RSC YH wishes all the best to to Heather MacDonald, who has recently announced she will be taking up the post of Principal of The Sheffield College.
Heather announced earlier this month that she will be leaving Wakefield College after 15 years, ten of which have been as Principal.
Heather says: “I have enjoyed my time in Wakefield, not only leading the College but also as an active member of a number of dynamic partnerships spanning the District”. She added that The Sheffield College is one of the largest general further education colleges in the country and “it is only a job of this scale that could tempt me to leave Wakefield”.
She begins her new post in September.
Heather is the Vice Chair of the JISC RSC YH Steering Group.
