Leading through equality and diversity – 21 May 2008
On Wednesday 21 May 2008, the Centre for Excellence in Leadership (CEL) will host its first conference dedicated to looking at equality and diversity issues across the further education and skills sector. One of CEL’s core objectives is to enhance the diversity profile in the sector, and the purpose of the event is to engage with sector leaders, share research findings and discuss the learning from its equality and diversity training programmes and positive action programmes.
The conference is for principals, governors, chief executives, senior leaders and HR, staff development and equality and diversity professionals. Workshops will give participants the opportunity to hear from other agencies and organisations, capture and share good practice, and explore the various issues and challenges that need to be addressed.
