ESCalate Conference: The Teaching-Research Interface: Implications for Practice in HE and FE

The ESCalate/ESRC/CRLL supported conference on The Teaching – Research Interface: Implications for Practice in HE and FE will be held at the University of Stirling on 29-30 April 2008.

This year’s conference promises to be an exciting event, packed with a mixture of over 60 presentations, keynotes, and workshops which cover the four interlocking conference themes of Widening Participation (progression and retention) including the role of HE in FE; Technology Enhanced Learning; Contexts of Learning; and Research-Teaching Linkages.

Keynote speakers include Professor Gert Biesta, University of Stirling; Professor Terry Mayes, Glasgow Caledonian University; Professor Gill Crozier, University of Sunderland and Professor Dai Hounsell, University of Edinburgh.
