Sheffield College is now recruiting for the next run of its E-tutor course, which starts on 14 April 2008, and runs until 17 August.
The key facts about the course are that it:
- is a 60 hour course, over approximately 15 weeks
- is delivered in Moodle
- develops the skills needed to support individuals and groups in online and blended learning course
- helps participants make effective use of the web and other technologies to support learning
- gives participants an understanding of usability and accessibility issues
- enables participants to create effective e-learning activities
- has a client list which includes: University for Industry, Ministry of Defence, Sheffield Children’s NHS Trust, Voluntary Action, Chelsea & Westminster Hospital, National Car Parks, Royal Mail, as well as many schools, colleges and universities
- is accredited by the Open College Network at level 3, and leads to 6 credits
- normally costs £175
