LLW picThe LSC’s Learning for Living and Work strategy states that provision for learners with learning difficulties and/or disabilities should challenge them, provide a sense of achievement, increase personal autonomy and deliver progression to new opportunities and experiences.

This event is designed to bring together organisations involved in the project and be a celebration and sharing of good practice, as well as a chance to create communities of practice and networking across the region. The day is being designed to give maximum opportunity for networking and for organisations with common areas of work to share ideas and solutions.

The day will start with an overview of each organisation’s project, so areas in common can be identified. There will then be a series of focused break out sessions, where people can show and tell what they have done, discuss issues faced and solutions found.

Aims of the Day:

  • To build a community of practice for inclusivity across Yorkshire and the Humber and across FE & Skills sectors
  • To share experiences of using technology within this agenda

Please note a courtesy bus or taxi will be arranged between Barnsley station and the college.
