An Introduction to Foundation Degree Forward’s (fdf’s) Employer Toolkit for Providers
Thursday 3 April 2008, 10.00am-16.00pm
University of Huddersfield

West Yorkshire Lifelong Learning Network are delighted to invite you to attend a one day staff development event focusing on fdf’s Employer Toolkit for Providers which will be led by Clare Stoney, fdf National Consultant.

The one day event will be held at the University of Huddersfield and will:

§ Give a general overview of the toolkit materials and how they can be used at different levels in the institution – strategic and operational

§ Present a framework for getting started on the new employer engagement agenda and undertaking a critical self assessment of level of readiness to address the challenges and opportunities posed by this agenda

§ Explore approaches to building and managing employer partnerships – sustainability in a quality assured environment. Taking advantage of a systematic cross-institutional approach to maximise benefits and achieve consistency and comparability

§ Provide an overview of information resources and materials available to support learning providers
